User Guide: QR Generator with Tracking
This guide will help you create, customize, and track your QR codes.

If the service ever needs to be discontinued, we will give everyone at least 3 months’ notice. A prominent warning will be displayed in the website’s header.

1. How to Generate a QR Code

Locate the “Create QR Code” button on the page.

A modal window will pop up. In the “Target URL” field, enter the full web address you want the QR code to point to (e.g., https://yourwebsite.com/deal). Only HTTPS URLs are allowed for security.

(Optional) Customize the design using the options below.

Click the “Generate QR Code” button.

Once generated, your unique QR Code ID will appear. You can copy it using the “Copy” button or Send for E-mail. The QR code preview will update on the right.

2. Customizing Your QR Code

Dot Color: Change the color of the QR code dots.

Background Color: Change the background color. Check “Transparent Background” for a transparent background (useful for placing on images).

Dot Style: Choose from different styles like squares, rounded, dots, or a classic look.

Logo: You can upload a logo image to place in the center of your QR code. Use the slider to adjust its size.

3. Downloading Your QR Code

After generating your code, you can download it in multiple formats (SVG, PNG, JPEG, WebP). Select your desired width in pixels and click the format button to download.

4. Viewing Statistics & Managing Your Codes

Find the QR statistics section on the site – QR Code Statistics.

Enter the QR Code ID (the one you copied when generating the code) into the input field.

Click “View Statistics”.

You will now see a detailed dashboard showing:

The target URL and creation date.

Total number of scans.

The time of the last scan.

Top countries and cities where your code was scanned.

Types of devices (e.g., iPhone, Android) used to scan it.

How people scanned it (e.g., via a QR scanner app, Google Lens, or a browser).

5. Updating or Deleting a QR Code

In the statistics dashboard for your specific QR code, you will find two management sections:

Update Target URL: Change the destination of your existing QR code without changing its appearance or ID. Enter the new URL and click “Update URL.”

Delete QR Code: Permanently delete the QR code and all of its associated scan data. This action cannot be undone.
